An International Cargo and Passenger Transportation System with short flight times provided by the speed of sub-orbital aircraft is the next logical step for the commercial air industry. Fuel costs will adversely effect this industries ability to continue on its present course. A completely new vision of operation must be on the forefront for international air transportation. The Combination of air transportation and orbital travel will suddenly merge into a competitive package. This makes good business sense. Let sub orbital commerce pay for the development of the orbital technology. The current cost burden for space access is too great for a single entity and the continued planning for expendable launch vehicles is not the answer... we have already been there!
